What does a spring turkey cost at Bigger Bucks?
A five day guided spring turkey hunt costs $1,500 with lodging and meals included. You hunt the same timber and field edges the deer come off, and Travis has been called the turkey whisperer in writing by a hunter who did it.
Spring on this farm is a different place. The bluffs green up, the birds are loud, and you are hunting timber and field edges rather than corridors. It is the most social hunt we run, partly because you are up before dawn and done by mid morning with a whole day left.
We hunt out of blinds and off the ground depending on the bird, and we run decoys where the terrain suits it. Our guides call, and if you would rather call yourself they will put you in front of a bird and let you work it.
Five days at $1,500 includes lodging and meals. Illinois sets its spring turkey seasons and permit deadlines separately from deer, and they move year to year, so call and we will walk you through the current dates and how to apply.
