Six days inside the November rut costs $3,500 with lodging and meals included. Six days is what lets you sit all day through the peak instead of picking three days and hoping.

The rut does not run on a schedule you can book three days against. It runs on a rough two week window with a peak that moves a few days year to year, and it is heavily affected by the weather that lands on top of it.

Six days covers that. It also lets your guide do the thing that actually kills mature deer, which is sitting you all day rather than pulling you out at ten in the morning. The most consistent daylight movement we see on this ground during the rut is between about 10am and 2pm, and hunters on short bookings almost never sit through it.

This is our most expensive archery hunt at $3,500 and it is still less than a lot of Pike County outfitters charge for three days. Lodging, meals and game care are included.
