What does a whitetail archery extended cost at Bigger Bucks?
Six guided archery days cost $2,900 with lodging and meals included, which works out cheaper per day than the three day hunt and gives your guide room to move you across more of the 8,000 acres.
The honest case for six days is weather. A three day hunt that lands on a warm front with a south wind is a hard three days no matter how good the ground is. Six days almost always contains a front, and a front on this farm is when the mature deer move in daylight.
It also changes how your guide can hunt you. With six days he will hold the best two or three setups back rather than burning them on day one, and he can sit you on an observation stand early to confirm what the cameras are telling him before he commits you.
At $2,900 for six days you are paying about $483 a day against $500 a day on the three day hunt, with the same lodging, the same meals and the same guides. Most repeat hunters end up here.
